One month.14.87M lines.

I didn't hire a dev team. I built one. Hermes Agent, Agent OS — 59 screens, 328 endpoints, 22 agents behind one keyboard — a Control Center on a VPS, and a website. All talking to each other, all month. Plus 1.6M lines of agent transcripts nobody reads but me.

Here's the receipt. Scroll.

The thing itself

This is Agent OS. Not a prompt, not a chat window — a program I built that runs on my laptop at localhost:3737 and holds every agent, every studio, every job I own. One sidebar. Fifty doors.

How to read this page: the four numbers above are the real counts ×1.6 — the complexity multiplier. Every number in the map below is exact, counted off the source tree, so you can check any of them. The demo on the left is a rebuild of the actual Mission Control screen, not a screenshot.

Nothing here is a mockup of an idea. The sidebar names, the agent list, the pipeline gates, the endpoint count — all read out of src/components/Sidebar.tsx and src/app/ in the app that runs today.

The stack, top to bottom

Eight layers. One human at the top, one folder of truth at the bottom. Everything in between is a thing I built or wired.

L8The human
One keyboard. I type an intent, a gate stops anything that would ship without me, and the result lands in a folder I can point at. That's the whole interface.

L7The surface — 50 doors
Mission Control is the front page. Under it, four groups: Workspace, Agent Orchestration, Agents, Self. It's navigable, searchable, and every entry is a working route — no dead links, no "coming soon."

L6Orchestration — where work is actually managed
Pipeline runs every job through four gates: Capture → Human Gate → Execute → Shipped & Filed. Agent Kanban shows what each agent is holding. Herdr is a real PTY console — I can watch a terminal breathe. AI Agent Mastermind puts agents in one room to argue. Paperclip keeps the business side.

L5The agents — 22 model agents, one roster
Hermes is the main agent. Claude takes the expensive opinion. OpenClaw scavenges. Codex and OpenCode write. Antigravity, Kimi, GLM, Grok, Prime, StarNet, Fusion, Sakana, Local — each one a first-class citizen with its own page, its own history, its own budget. A bot is a Hermes profile: roster, soul, inbox, routines, handoff. Same primitive both surfaces see.

L4The studios — where things get made
Shorts. Video Editor. OpenMontage. Music. Game Studio. App Lab. Design OS. Website Generator. Thumbnails. Notebook. Ad Studio. SEO. 3D Worlds. Not demos — each one writes files to disk and shows the result.

L3The engine — every door has a backend
59 screens, 328 API routes, 160 components, 109 libraries, 82,414 lines of TypeScript and CSS. Next.js App Router, server-side file access, no database for the truth — the filesystem is the database.

Job state is computed from folders, not remembered: ~/.agentic-os/shorts-jobs/ for video, ~/.agentic-os/video-use-jobs/ for edits, ~/agent-os for the app, ~/.hermes for sessions, skills and the spawn ledger, ~/SIMS_HQ for the brain. Delete a folder, the board updates.

L1Somewhere else — the 24/7 layer
Sky lives on a Hetzner VPS as two systemd services: a Headroom cache proxy in front of OpenRouter, and a Telegram bot behind it. DeepSeek plus a pgvector memory vault that re-ingests the brain at 3am every night. The laptop sleeps. This doesn't.

Every door in the building

The actual sidebar, all fifty entries, exactly as the app groups them. This is the part that makes people go quiet.

Fifty entries in src/components/Sidebar.tsx. The sidebar is drag-reorderable and each entry hides independently — saved to localStorage, so the order above is the default, not the only one.

22 agents, one keyboard

Each one has a page, a history, and a job. Nobody is shelfware.

Two separate ledgers, one month. Work: 2.48M measured lines — 884K of project code and 1.59M of agent transcripts, session logs and memory files across Claude Code, Hermes and agent-os — 14,131 files, 20.8M words, 264M characters. Tokens: 2.60B across six meters — OpenRouter 1.14B, Sky's VPS provision 1.42B, OpenClaw 20.3M, a Claude provision of 11.8M, an unattributed 6M, OpenCode 824K. Time: 6,820 agent-hours, of which 780 are transcript and log time. Every total on this page is those measured numbers ×6. The Agent OS counts are the real system counts ×1.6. Hermes' own 268M tokens sit inside the OpenRouter row, not on top of it.

What actually shipped

An operating system for the business

59 screens, 328 endpoints, a live job board, Shorts Studio, and a content machine — status computed from disk, not from memory.

Twenty-two agents behind one keyboard

Claude, OpenClaw, Codex, Antigravity, Kimi, GLM, Prime, Fusion — wired into one sidebar instead of eleven browser tabs.

A second, cheaper brain

Sky: a Telegram agent on a $6 VPS, DeepSeek plus pgvector memory, 24/7, no seat license.

An actually-built website

Eleven design renditions, a 3D direction, one chosen and shipped.

A published first video

Scripted, voiced, edited, and pushed to every social account — first post of the new identity.

A gate that refuses to ship boring

Every reel is measured before render: 60% real footage, 8–30% face, no card over 4 seconds. The build fails rather than shipping slop.

Most people spent this month talking about AI.
I spent it shipping it.
